Private 534930 1st/15th Bn London Regiment KIA 04/04/1918 Aged 19. Born Horsforth. Son of John William and Eleanor Abbott Married 1896 CWGC 7 Salisbury View Armley. Remembered Pozieres Memorial France. Remembered Armley War Memorial Gotts Park.

Private 24461 2nd Bn West Yorkshire Regiment DOW 12/09/1916 Aged 21. Son of John Edward and Alice Marsden Married 1893 St Peter Leeds CWGC 14 Garfield Grove Armley. Laid to Rest Bethune Town Cemetery France. Remembered Armley War Memorial Gotts Park.


Private 50526 10th Bn Lancashire Fusiliers DOW 26/09/1919 Aged 21. Born Leeds 1898. Son of William Clayton and Mary Elizabeth Whitaker Married 1894 St Mathias Burley. Enlisted Leeds March 1917. Sent to France January 1918.  CWGC 4 Nunington Street Armley. Severely wounded at Rheims Died of Wounds at the 53rd General Hospital 26/09/1919. Laid to Rest 28/09/1919 Terlincthun British Cemetery Wimille Boulogne France. (National Roll of the Great War States he died 26/09/1918 and was buried in Wimereux. "Whilst we remember the sacrifice is not in vain" ) Remembered Armley War Memorial Gotts Park.


Private 25160 2nd Bn West Yorkshire Regiment DIED at Home 23/07/1916 Aged 27. Born Stourton 1889. Son of John and Jane 1917 34 Harlech Road Dewsbury Road effects left to Jane £167.19.s.7d. Laid to Rest Hunslet old Cemetery.


Gunner 165580 30/04/1917 A Battery 62nd Brigade Royal Field Artillery Aged 26. Born Son of W and M E Husband of Annie CWGC 33 Salisbury Grove Armley. Laid to Rest Bunyans Cemetery Tilloy-les-Mofflaines France. Remembered Armley War Memorial Gotts Park.
