Above the list of First World War Names is an engraved laurel wreath. The names lists for both wars are divided into two columns and engraved in black. A thin black border is engraved around the edge of the plaque.

Charles enlisted into the West Yorkshire Regiment 4347 17/07/1915 Aged 15. He was subsequently discharged 21/07/1916 for being under the age of 17 when he enlisted.
