Department Bottling. Born 1897 Leeds.  Son of Thomas and Julia Corcoron Married 1896 Holbeck District Registered Building 1911 No 5 Hall Court Occupation Errand Boy CWGC 10 Salem Place.  Enlisted Leeds August 1914.(Not James who was in the army in 1911 in India same regiment he lost his life with in WW1) Remembered Ypres Menin Gate Belgium and St Marys Hunslet.

PEARCE Edward James Rifleman 2778 7th Bn West Yorkshire Regiment KIA 07/05/1915 Aged 17 Department Bottling. Born Norwich. Son of Edward James and Rosa Ellen Baker CWGC of 13 Canvas Street Holbeck Native of Norfolk. 1911 Resident Burton Upon Trent was at School father employed as a brewery worker. Edward was originally laid to rest Winchester Post Military Cemetery Rue-du-Bacquerot alongside 119 other men.  Laid to Rest Aubers Ridge British Cemetery France.
