BOWMAN Geoffrey Glendinning Flight Sub-Lieutenant No 1 Squadron Royal Naval Air Service KIA 19/05/1917 Aged 19. Born 11/03/1898 Headingley. Son of William Powell and Mary Grace Glendinning Married 1893 St Michael Headingley CWGC Leafield Moortown. Enlisted 17/02/1917 16 North Grange Road Headingley. Trained on a Maurice Farman Bi plane at Chingford 17/12/1916. (Brother William Powell Remembered Royal Flying Corps.)



Remembered Arras Flying Services Memorial

BRAY Frank Flight Sub-Lieutenant No 8 Squadron Royal Naval Air Service KIA 15/07/1917 Aged 18.  Born Leeds 22/10/1898. Son of John William and Marion Isabel Shaw Married 1897 Ilkley CWGC Hambleton House Roundhay Park Lane Moortown. Trained on a Avro Bi plane at Redcar 16/04/1917.
